Instructions
- Press the tofu for at least 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss with oil, corn starch, soy sauce, and salt.
- Spread the tofu in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
- Meanwhile, make the sesame sauce by sautéing ginger and garlic in sesame oil until golden.
- Add vegetable broth, brown sugar, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to the pot and bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch and water to form a slurry, then stir it into the sauce and simmer until thickened.
- Toast sesame seeds in a small pan until aromatic.
- Toss the baked tofu in the sesame sauce and toasted sesame seeds, then serve with rice, broccoli, and green onions.
