Baked Tofu

arrowroot starch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drain the tofu, cut it in half lengthwise, and press it between towels with a heavy object for 10 minutes.
- Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss with sesame oil.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, garlic powder, and cayenne, then sprinkle over the tofu and stir well.
- Add arrowroot starch to the tofu and stir until it's no longer visible.
- Spread the tofu on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes.
- Flip the tofu cubes and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or add to meals.
