Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch metal pan with aluminum foil, lightly greased.
- In a large bowl, whisk together boiling water and chopped chocolate until smooth. If needed, microwave for 20-30 seconds to fully melt.
- Add cocoa powder and whisk until combined.
- Mix in sugar, oil, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour and salt until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is crackly and the sides are set.
- Cool completely before cutting.
