The caramel layer

The chocolate layer

chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Combine the base layer ingredients in a food processor and pulse until a sticky paste forms.
- Press the mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes and then remove from the oven.
- In the same food processor, blend the caramel layer ingredients until creamy.
- Spread the caramel over the baked base layer.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments and pour it over the caramel layer.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
- Refrigerate overnight or freeze for two hours to harden.
- Slice into squares and enjoy.
