Chocolate Coating
Instructions
- Line an 8 x 8 square pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine coconut flour, protein powder, and maple syrup, then mix well.
- Add milk of choice to the mixture and mix until a thick batter forms, then transfer to the lined pan and refrigerate.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil, then microwave until warm and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the nougat base and sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
- Freeze for 10 minutes until firm, then cut into bars.
- Melt chocolate chips and coat each bar in chocolate, then refrigerate until the chocolate has firmed up.
