Homemade Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cups whole milk
  • 3 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp plain vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
  3. Combine the wet and dry mixtures, mixing until just blended.
  4. Let the batter rest for a few minutes and preheat the griddle.
  5. Grease the griddle and pour about 1/3 cup of batter for each pancake.
  6. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of toppings.
