Ingredients

The tomatoes

  • 6 small tomatoes, halved

The seasoning and cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. 2. Rinse the tomatoes and slice them in half.
  3. 3. Toss the tomatoes gently with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Arrange the tomatoes in a baking dish and top with Parmesan cheese.
  5. 5. Roast the tomatoes for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
  6. 6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
