The tomatoes

cherry or grape tomatoes, halved lengthwise
The seasoning

extra-virgin olive oil

fine salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the halved tomatoes with olive oil and salt on the parchment paper, cut sides facing up.
- Bake for 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 ½ hours until the tomatoes are shriveled and not too wet.
- Let the tomatoes cool before using, and store leftovers in the refrigerator or freeze.
