Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Trim the woody ends off the asparagus by bending them until they snap.
- Cut each slice of prosciutto into quarters to have about 16 pieces.
- Wrap a piece of prosciutto around the middle of each asparagus spear and place them on the baking sheet.
- Brush the wrapped asparagus lightly with olive oil, focusing on the tops.
- Sprinkle with black pepper to taste.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is crisp.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
