Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients

The asparagus and prosciutto

  • pounds asparagus
  • ½ pound prosciutto di Parma

The oil and seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • to taste Magic Mushroom Powder or kosher salt
  • to taste freshly ground pepper

The finishing touch

  • 2 tablespoons aged balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler to high and prepare the asparagus by trimming the tough ends.
  2. Divide the asparagus between two baking sheets and drizzle with avocado oil, seasoning with Magic Mushroom Powder (or salt) and pepper.
  3. Cut the prosciutto slices into strips and wrap each strip around an asparagus spear.
  4. Arrange the wrapped asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheets.
  5. Broil one tray for 5-8 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the prosciutto is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
  6. Repeat with the second tray and drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar before serving.
