Ingredients

The asparagus

  • 24 stalks Asparagus

The wrapping

  • 12 slices Prosciutto

The seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
  2. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the prosciutto slices lengthwise and wrap each strip around an asparagus stalk without overlapping.
  4. Place the wrapped asparagus seam side down on the wire rack.
  5. Bake for 5 minutes, turn over, and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until tender and bright green.
  6. Optionally, broil for 2 minutes to crisp the prosciutto.
