Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack.
- Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the prosciutto slices lengthwise and wrap each strip around an asparagus stalk without overlapping.
- Place the wrapped asparagus seam side down on the wire rack.
- Bake for 5 minutes, turn over, and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until tender and bright green.
- Optionally, broil for 2 minutes to crisp the prosciutto.
