Instructions
- Prepare a medium bowl with cooking spray.
- In a stand mixer bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Heat milk and orange juice until warm, then add yeast and let it foam.
- Whisk together egg, sugar, and orange zest, then combine with the yeast mixture.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the flour mixture, then add softened butter and knead until smooth.
- Transfer dough to the prepared bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
- Prepare the filling by mixing butter, honey, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling, and sprinkle chopped pistachios.
- Roll the dough tightly and chill in the freezer for easier slicing.
- Slice into rolls and place in a baking pan to rise again.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the rolls until golden brown.
- Mix glaze ingredients and pour over warm rolls before serving.
