Double Dark Chocolate Cookies with Walnuts and Sea Salt

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a small bowl, combine flaxseed meal with coffee or water.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the vegan buttery stick, avocado, sugars, and vanilla until creamy.
- Add the flaxseed mixture and mix until incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just moistened.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and two-thirds of the walnuts.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Press the remaining walnuts onto the tops of the cookies and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for about 13 minutes until set on the edges.
