Cedar Plank Salmon

Northwest Salmon Rub or salt, pepper, and lemon zest

Instructions
- Soak the cedar plank in water for 1-2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the salmon with olive oil and season with the salmon rub or salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill and grill until it smells smoky and grill marks appear, about 4 minutes.
- Flip the cedar plank over and place the seasoned salmon on top.
- Lower the heat, cover the grill, and cook until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 130-135°F, about 10 minutes, adding thyme halfway through.
