Cooking Salmon on a Cedar Plank

The cedar planks
Instructions
- Soak the cedar planks in water for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 350°F).
- Cut the salmon fillet into pieces of approximately 225 grams each, keeping the skin on.
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the soaked cedar planks on the grill and add the salmon skin side down.
- Add fresh lemon thyme on top of the salmon if desired.
- Close the grill lid and cook for 12-15 minutes, checking for doneness.
- Serve the salmon on the cedar planks or transfer to a serving plate.
