Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Melt the chopped chocolate with the butter in a double-boiler or microwave, stirring frequently.
- Transfer the melted chocolate mixture to a stand mixer, add sugar, eggs, and vanilla, and mix until combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture on low speed, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Form the batter into tablespoon-sized balls and roll each in the crumbled Oreos.
- Place the dough balls on parchment-lined baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cookies are flat and surfaces begin to crack.
- Transfer to wire racks to cool.
