  • 3 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch tart pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, oat flour, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and maple syrup to the flour mixture and combine until moistened.
  4. Press the mixture into the tart pan, ensuring even coverage and prick the base with a fork.
  5. Bake the crust for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly firm and golden.
  6. Prepare the apple filling by slicing the apples and mixing with maple syrup, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  7. Arrange the apple slices on the crust, overlapping as desired.
  8. Bake the tart for 25 minutes, then brush with remaining maple syrup mixture and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. Let the tart cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
