Thai Chili Beef Burger

Ingredients

The patties

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Thai red curry paste
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

The assembly

  • 1 baguette baguette
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • to taste sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef with the red curry paste, breadcrumbs, chopped cilantro, egg, light soy sauce, and black pepper in a bowl and mix until sticky.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape them into mini burger patties.
  3. Preheat the grill and cook the patties over high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Cut the baguette lengthwise into four sections and assemble each section with two cooked mini burger patties, shredded lettuce, and a drizzle of sweet chili sauce.
  5. Serve warm.
