Ingredients

The smoothie base

  • ½ cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup full fat canned coconut milk
  • ¼ - ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup oats
  • ½ cup cashews
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cups ice

Optional toppings

  • to taste shredded carrots
  • to taste coconut flakes
  • to taste chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except for the ice into a blender.
  2. Blend until creamy.
  3. Add the ice and blend until smooth.
  4. Serve with toppings of choice.
