Ingredients

The Fish

  • 4 fillets mahi mahi
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 whole lemon

The Cajun Seasoning Mix

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • to taste cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all seasoning mix ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Pat the mahi mahi fillets dry and season them with the mix.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the avocado oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the fish and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the fish and cook until opaque and cooked through, another 2-5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with lemon wedges.
