Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high or the oven to 350°F.
- Cut 8 large pieces of foil and layer two pieces per packet in a plus sign shape.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chopped onion until soft.
- Add the ground pork or beef to the skillet and cook until browned, draining fat if desired.
- Season the meat with chili powder, cumin, oregano, and salt, then stir in lime juice.
- Evenly distribute tortilla chips on the foil, then top with the cooked meat and grated cheese.
- Fold the foil packets securely, making sure to punch holes in the top to prevent sogginess.
- Cook the packets on the grill or in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Carefully open the packets, add optional toppings, and serve.
