Ingredients

The nuts

  • 4 cups almonds

The seasonings

  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 whole vanilla beans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spread 2 cups of almonds on a baking sheet and toast for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Allow the toasted almonds to cool.
  4. Transfer the cooled almonds to a food processor and add the remaining 2 cups of raw almonds, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla beans.
  5. Process the mixture for 10-15 minutes until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides as needed.
  6. Transfer the almond butter to clean, airtight glass jars and store in a cool, dry place.
