Instructions
- Mix the almond or coconut milk with apple cider vinegar and let sit to create vegan buttermilk.
- Whisk in the ground flaxseed and refrigerate for 15 minutes until thick.
- In a separate bowl, combine the baking flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and sea salt.
- Add the nut milk mixture to the dry ingredients along with coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Preheat and grease the waffle maker.
- Pour batter into the waffle maker and cook until done.
- Keep waffles warm in the oven while cooking the remaining batter.
- Serve with strawberries and vegan whipped cream.
