Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the eggs, buttermilk, sour cream, Guinness, vegetable oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients.
- Pour in the hot coffee and mix with a spatula or wooden spoon for about 1-2 minutes until the batter is thin.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the pan and cool completely on a cooling rack.
- For the chocolate ganache, melt the cream, butter, and chocolate in the microwave for about a minute and mix until smooth.
- Pour the ganache over the cooled cake and serve.
- For the frosting, mix the softened butter and cream cheese together, then add the powdered sugar a cup at a time until smooth.
- Slowly pour in the Baileys, adjusting to taste, and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Spread the frosting over the cake before serving.
