The frosting

Instructions
- Reduce the Guinness in a saucepan until it measures 2/3 cup and let it cool.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare a baking pan.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together, then mix in the sugar and reduced Guinness.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, then stir in the flour, salt, and espresso powder if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 32-35 minutes.
- Cool the brownies completely on a wire rack before frosting.
- For the frosting, beat the butter until smooth, then mix in the sugar and reduced Guinness along with the other ingredients.
- Frost the cooled brownies and store leftovers at room temperature.
