Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Butter a 9-inch springform pan and dust with cocoa powder.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, then add Guinness and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat, stir in cocoa powder, and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Add the cooled cocoa mixture to the egg mixture and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugars, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
- Cool the cake on a wire rack until cool to the touch, then transfer to a cake dish.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla to make frosting.
- Once the cake is cool, frost the top to resemble a pint of Guinness.
