Instructions
- Soak the crushed pork rinds in heavy cream to make a panade.
- Combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, parsley, and the soaked pork rinds.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet and cook the patties for about 3 minutes on each side, then remove and cover.
- In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms, cooking for 1 minute before adding onions.
- Stir in beef base, whisky, and water, scraping the pan for flavor.
- Add heavy cream and any juices from the patties, simmer until thickened.
- Serve the gravy over the hamburger steaks.
