Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over high heat.
- Combine the steak ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into 4 oval patties.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned, then cover with foil to keep warm.
- In the same pan, melt butter and add mushrooms and onions, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Cook until the mushrooms and onions are tender and browned, then add garlic and cook briefly.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, then gradually add beef broth while whisking until smooth.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook until thickened, then stir in Worcestershire and soy sauce.
- Return the hamburger steaks to the pan and coat with the gravy, cooking until warmed through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
