Ingredients

The tofu

  • 1 package Extra-Firm Tofu

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Corn Starch
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

The oil

  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu by layering it with paper towels and placing something heavy on top for 20-30 minutes or overnight.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss them with soy sauce in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix cornstarch and garlic powder.
  4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet until very hot.
  5. Coat the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture and add them to the skillet.
  6. Cook the tofu until browned, about 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another few minutes.
  7. Serve with your favorite sauce.
