Cinnamon Sweet Potato Apple Bake

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a casserole dish, combine sweet potatoes, apples, 2 tablespoons melted ghee or butter, water, and cinnamon.
- Mix until the apples and sweet potatoes are evenly coated.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil, add optional pecans, stir, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until sweet potatoes are cooked through.
- Remove from the oven, toss or drizzle with 1 tablespoon melted ghee or butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sea salt.
- Optionally, drizzle with maple syrup and top with additional chopped pecans.
