Instructions
- Beat the butter and cream cheese together until fully incorporated.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, then mix in a cup of sifted powdered sugar and cornstarch.
- Continue mixing, adding powdered sugar one cup at a time until desired thickness is achieved.
- Refrigerate the frosting for at least 4 hours or overnight to thicken.
- Apply the frosting to a cooled cake or store it in the fridge until ready to use.
