Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, pecorino, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl and form into meatballs.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with fresh basil. Bake until toasted.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook meatballs until golden brown.
- Top each toasted bread slice with marinara, a meatball, and mozzarella. Bake until cheese is melted.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil and extra parmesan.
