Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot and sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until lightly cooked.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up clumps as needed.
- Stir in brown sugar and seasonings, then mix well.
- Add crushed tomatoes, beans, and beer, combining all ingredients.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Adjust thickness with chicken stock or water if necessary, and re-season to taste.
