Homemade Churros with Chocolate Sauce

The chocolate sauce

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, milk, butter, sugar, and salt and bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat and stir in flour, cooking until the dough forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Beat the dough with a hand mixer, adding eggs one at a time and mixing until smooth.
- Heat oil in a pot to 370°F.
- Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
- For the chocolate sauce, heat chocolate chips and cream in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
