Ingredients

The bananas

  • 2 pieces ripe bananas

The coating

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the bananas in half, then cut each half lengthwise.
  2. Combine the melted coconut oil, coconut sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Toss the banana pieces in the sugar mixture to coat them evenly.
  4. Prepare the air fryer basket by lining it with aluminum foil and poking holes in it.
  5. Place the coated banana halves in a single layer in the basket and air fry at 375°F for 5 minutes.
  6. Flip the bananas and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
