Chewy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth, then add the sugars and beat until creamed.
- Add the eggs, molasses, and vanilla, and mix until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then mix in the oats and chocolate chips until thick and sticky.
- Chill the dough for at least 45 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop about 3 tablespoons of dough for each cookie and place them on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 13-14 minutes until lightly browned on the sides and soft in the center.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
