Ingredients

Spices

  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • about 20 cranks freshly cracked pepper

Fish

  • 4 oz tilapia filets

Cooking Fat

  • 1 Tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the spices in a small bowl.
  2. Coat both sides of each tilapia filet with the spice mix.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until foamy.
  4. Cook two filets at a time for about two minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Repeat with the remaining filets, adding more butter if needed.
  6. Serve hot.
