Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry.
- In a small bowl, mix the paprika, brown sugar, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, thyme, and oregano.
- Melt the butter in a separate bowl and brush it over the flesh side of the salmon fillets.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the buttered fillets and pat it down gently.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, flesh-side down, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes without moving them.
- Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until fully cooked and crispy.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon and serve immediately with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
