Ingredients

Blackened Salmon Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • ¾ tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Onion powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp Dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp Dried oregano

Salmon

  • 4 6-oz Salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the blackened seasoning spices together.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning over the salmon fillets on all sides.
  4. Preheat a large skillet on medium heat and add the olive oil.
  5. Arrange the salmon fillets skin side down in the skillet and cook until edges turn pale pink.
  6. Flip the salmon and cook until darkened and it flakes easily with a fork.
