Instructions
- Heat a heavy bottom pot over high heat and add olive oil.
- Once the oil shimmers, add the ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes without adding salt.
- Add ½ teaspoon of salt, onion, and green pepper; cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the tomato paste and canned tomatoes, removing any stray skins and hard stems.
- Add the remaining seasonings and mix well, then bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in cauliflower florets; simmer for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot with shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
