Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium-high heat, adding the taco seasoning.
- Add the onions and garlic, cooking until the meat is no longer pink.
- Drain excess fat if necessary, then add diced tomatoes, broth, cream or milk, and shredded cheese.
- Combine flour and water to create a slurry, then add it to the pot to thicken the sauce.
- Allow the sauce to thicken for up to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pot, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
