Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Whisk together the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
- Mash the bananas with lemon juice, then blend with butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.
- Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet and space them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 11 to 12 minutes until slightly soft, then cool on a wire rack.
