Ingredients

Topping

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup cashew butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Serving Suggestions

  • as needed vanilla ice cream
  • as needed dairy-free whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix maple syrup, cashew butter, and sea salt in a large bowl until blended.
  3. Add the chopped apples and coat them well, then pour the mixture into a square baking dish.
  4. Combine topping ingredients in a food processor and pulse until incorporated.
  5. Drop pieces of the topping over the apples evenly.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes or until the topping is beginning to brown.
