Kombucha from previous batch or store-bought Kombucha

Instructions
- Boil a gallon of reverse osmosis water in a medium-sized pot.
- Turn off the heat and add a cup of organic sugar and 8 bags of tea, steep for 15 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and cover the pot to cool overnight until room temperature.
- Pour the sweet tea into a clean glass container.
- Add one cup of Kombucha and the SCOBY to the container.
- Cover the container with a cloth and secure it with a rubber band.
- Keep the container in a warm place, away from direct sunlight, for 7 to 30 days.
- Once the Kombucha tastes to your liking, remove the SCOBY and strain out any yeast tails if desired.
- Refrigerate the Kombucha or proceed to a second fermentation for carbonation.
- For second fermentation, store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 5 days, releasing pressure daily.
