Ingredients

Seasoning Mix

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
  • ¼ teaspoon fennel seed
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound uncooked 99% lean ground turkey breast
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach leaves
  • 13.8 ounces Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust dough
  • 6 ounces shredded 2% Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Combine the seasoning ingredients in a bowl to create the Italian sausage seasoning mix.
  2. 2. Mix the ground turkey with the seasoning until well blended.
  3. 3. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the turkey mixture until browned.
  5. 5. Add chopped spinach to the cooked turkey and let cool.
  6. 6. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and sprinkle some Mozzarella cheese on it.
  7. 7. Mix the remaining Mozzarella with the turkey and spinach, and spread it on the dough.
  8. 8. Roll the dough up tightly, seal the edges, and place it seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  9. 9. Brush the roll with beaten egg and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese mixture.
  10. 10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then let cool before slicing.
