Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (191°C).
- Mix the spices to create the blackened seasoning.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with the blackened seasoning.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat, add olive oil, and heat until shimmering.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 2 minutes per side until browned.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 7-10 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet to prevent overcooking, tent with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
