Instructions
- Reduce the apple cider by simmering it in a saucepan until you have about ½ cup.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and spray the donut pan with non-stick spray.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients, then combine with the dry ingredients and the reduced apple cider.
- Fill the donut pan cavities about halfway with the batter.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes until lightly browned, then cool for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Coat the donuts in melted butter and then in the sugar and spice mixture.
