Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the donut pans.
- Whip the aquafaba until soft peaks form and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the oil, sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, spices, and salt.
- Add the applesauce and apple cider, then mix well.
- Incorporate the almond flour, gluten-free flour, baking powder, and baking soda gently.
- Fold in the whipped aquafaba carefully.
- Fill the donut pans and bake for 20-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool, then optionally brush with melted vegan butter and coat with cinnamon sugar.
