Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 12-well donut pan with palm shortening.
- Simmer the apple cider in a small pot for about 15 minutes until reduced to 1 cup.
- Cool the reduced cider in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the remaining donut ingredients in a blender and puree.
- Add the cooled cider to the blender and mix well.
- Divide the batter evenly among the 12 donut pan wells.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Cool the donuts on racks.
- Grind the coconut sugar and cinnamon together.
- Brush each donut with coconut oil and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
