Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ¼ cup arrowroot flour
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoons cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • ¼ cup palm shortening
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • teaspoon vanilla liquid stevia
  • 2 units eggs

Topping

  • cup coconut sugar
  • to taste none water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Whisk together the dry ingredients in one bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients using an electric mixer.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and blend until smooth.
  5. Use a scoop or your hands to form small balls and place them on a lined cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  7. Prepare a bowl of water and another bowl with coconut sugar.
  8. Once the donuts are cool, dip them in water and then press them into the coconut sugar.
  9. Turn the oven to broil and place the donuts under the broiler for about a minute to melt the sugar slightly.
  10. Serve warm.
